Denise Scearce is highly dedicated to working with families going through the divorce process.  As a Child Specialist and Parent Coach, Denise has been working as an advocate for children and families for over 10 years, helping them understand the trauma of divorce and separation and the need to realign as a family.  Denise has the right blend of vision and experience to provide expertise to high-conflict families  in  child custody cases. Her commitment to advocacy for children is demonstrated by her work as a court appointed Parent Coordinator in North Carolina.  Denise believes the collaborative process to be valuable in assisting parents to move forward in a positive direction for the health and well-being of the family.

Denise earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in Maine and her Masters of Social Work at Grambling State University in Louisiana.  She has worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 19 years and has worked in diverse settings. Presently she is in private practice in Wilmington, NC.
